Porlock Weir - 13th August 2022
"Some wore waders and some... not so much." Ian Johnson took us further afield for this 'Photo-Walk' [#6] - having first conducted much research regarding: place; time; weather; tide and so forth. With the prospect of an 11-6 metre[Super-Moon-Assisted] tidal rise we were off to Porlock Weir. It promised to be a rather different evening's photography. We weren't disappointed! I'll let Ian. J give you chapter and verse on the trip, however, I can tell you that when we arrived the area you see in these photographs was mostly dry marshland. I took these two shots with wet feet, up to my knees, having clambered up on to the small bank; which held the water back.
